Sydney

We were able to get great nights sleep last night and woke up ready to go.  We started the day with a Sydney city tour.  We covered 250 years of history and 5 miles.  It was a good experience to learn the history while observing the sites.  The Australians have a great deal of pride in their English origins and their national accomplishments.

Julie in front of the Harbour Bridge, referred to as "the coathanger"

What do you do for a break, you watch the Packers..... unfortunately lose to the Seahawks.  We were able to watch them live on Friday afternoon because they were on Thursday night football on Amazon.

In what is odd behavior for me, I actually bought some souvenirs
That is it for our first full day so far.  We have tickets to see a play at the Sydney Opera House tonight and go to the Blue Mountains tomorrow.  Unfortunately it is unseasonably cold, so if we head to the beach in Sunday, it will be more as observers than participants.
